Boosting a pretty photo is not a media strategy. When I took over accounts in real estate, fashion, and healthcare, the pattern was the same: spend going out, vanity metrics coming in, sales teams complaining about junk leads.
The playbook I use is boring on purpose. Start with the offer, not the targeting. A valuation, a catalogue, a consultation, a first-ride discount — something a stranger can say yes to without a 40-minute call. If the offer is vague, no amount of Advantage+ will save it.
Then I match the destination. Instant forms work when the sales team can call fast and the qualifier questions are tight. Landing pages work when the offer needs proof — property stock, a service process, a price band. I have run both. Kafaa Properties recorded 60 leads and 120,298 impressions on one window. Balqees Abaya recorded 61 leads and 107,798 impressions on another. The creative looked different. The discipline did not.
Audiences start broader than clients expect, then get carved by placement, creative, and exclusion — not by 14 stacked interest layers from 2018. I test one variable at a time: hook, image, first form question, landing headline. If everything changes on Monday, nobody learns anything on Friday.
Creative is a system. I write hooks as if they will be watched without sound. I show the outcome in the first three seconds. I keep text on the image honest and large. For fashion that might be a garment and a price tension. For real estate it is inventory and a neighbourhood. For a chauffeur brand it is the car, the airport, and the time promise.
Qualified means the form or page asked for something real. Budget range. Area. Service type. Timeline. Too many questions and you starve volume. Too few and you flood a sales WhatsApp with tourists. I sit with the client on what they will actually follow up, then I build that into the lead form.
Reporting is not a screenshot of spend. I report leads, cost per lead, and whether those leads became conversations. If a campaign is cheap and useless, we kill it. If it is expensive and closing, we scale it. That is the whole optimisation loop.
Meta Ads still work in 2026 for UAE service and retail brands. They work when the site, the offer, and the sales follow-up are treated as one system — which is why I build the WordPress page and the campaign together.
